So this happened to my watch, 6 months after doing a full service.
I noticed it only yesterday when i flipped my watch over, and realised the rotor is jammed by a small metallic object.

Moral of the story: Don't service/fix when nothing is broken. 
I had the same with a Tissot 7750 chrono once

A quick call to Tissot service got me apologies, same day service and a free new bracelet.

take it with humour
Service is mandatory and you will know this as you have sent you watch to service for an overhaul and not repair ( this is what I gather from your last sentence ). Little mishaps can occur and I am sure you take it humour. A picture of the whole watch would also be appreciated here. Best Moritz

On hindsight, maybe it was better if I hadn't sent the watch for overhaul.
There was no problems pre-overhaul.

In my humble opinion every high end wristwatch must be properly serviced (overhaul).
Now that you noticed the service team's mistake do what you have to.
