Tempting, but....
I fear spending the airfare and buying a watch in a single purpose driven trip would be too much for my wife to handle ;-)
You'd of course only get it to take care of it for the next generation ;)

The movement is gorgeous.
I remember when Melvyn first showed this one, I thought it would be my first Chopard. But the dial does not quite sing to me. Ironic, I ended up with the same color palette with the 8HF's dial.

But I get the comment about the dial. For me, It is distinctive, and charming, and very Chopard, but I was sold on the whole watch, and really the idea of it from Chopard, having heard KFS talk about it years in advance. Against the numerous options of exquisite chronographs (AP of course included), however, it is maybe not one that sings out and says 'pick me' to everyone.
