aston.db4,
The others have already responded to your query.
Generally, they are correct: the target standard service time for "simple" repairs is 14 working days in the USA, if it can be done at the USA service centre.
Be aware that there are only three official Chopard Boutiques in the USA: NYC - NY, Bal Harbour-FL and Costa Mesa-CA.
I hope that the strange non-response you got was not from one of those three boutiques...
Regards,
MTF
It is and remains one of Chopard’s company-wide, key focus areas to provide excellent customer service, and the shortest possible turnaround time for any service or repair jobs.
With regards to quoting expected repair turnaround times, of course it is ‘easy’ to quote a repair time for a standard, non-complex watch. However, in certain cases we do avoid quoting a too specific turnaround time for repairs in general, as it greatly depends on what eventually is assessed by watchmakers in the estimate, if the spare parts are in stock etc.
L.U.C pieces in general are harder to predict, given the complexity of the movements. Notably, the Pro One is a watch that has been retired and thus the repair time for this reference could vary from the ‘usual’ turnaround time, which might have prompted us to be careful with providing a time frame estimate.
We do aim to provide clients with an “idea” of timing. In this case, we would have quoted anywhere from 2-3 weeks (if we have the parts and the watch can be serviced in our US service center) to 10 weeks (if the watch has to go to Geneva).
