The video just sparked off more questions....
Classic Racing range of watches with in-house Chopard movements may be a tad more expensive than outsourced calibers but are still "affordable" .

The Ferdinand Berthoud FB1 chronometer is a different prospect but this is the cost of true luxury!

A very interesting video, but a shame that someone seemed to be emptying the dishwasher close by.

I do like the idea of the Historique Monaco pieces having the in house movement. I'm not too sure my purse is large enough.

It's a shame that I have spent quite a bit lately on new watches, Chopard tells me there is a private sale of end of line pieces in London this weekend. As tempting as it is, I can't really spend much more...

It will be a while until I claim my fourth piece, hopefully a 2008 Historique, which I like the look of. I am hoping to get the repair estimate for my Time Attack in the next few days, so that will be good to get back.

Maybe you were speaking of general collectors and not PuristS (although that stance would be a surprise since you are the CEO here).
I believe most PuristS rather have the in-house movement, even if it were a little more expensive and took longer to get. Being a Purist, you learn patience in acquiring what you want. I am not concerned about how many they can make.

His watch looks amazing.

A real elegant gentleman - they do make them like this any more.

I agree but then I'm biased

With so many brands today, one differentiator may be who is behind your watch.

You may not like every design detail equally but you can rest assured knowing "where the buck stops".
I'm happy to know the buck stops with Mr Scheufele .

It tells a lot about the person, a real gentleman who speaks openly and with passion.

You can really feel the passion of the man instead of the corporate greed that you can unfortunately often read between the lines in front of some people. Business and figures are important but passion of developing real new products is even more important.

It is always a treat to see your videos with Mr. KFS and to learn more about future Chopard projects.

Although my fellow diners said they had been planning to book a table privately before the invitation from William & Son of London.

Hélène Darroze at The Connaught has two Michelin stars and Yes...it was delicious.
