You know, I bought this watch completely sight unseen. With a brand like AP, I usually know what to expect. With this Chopard, I did not know for sure. But, turns out to be one of my best watch purchases. I love it, a real keeper.
I never had the chance to see it in real unfortunately but I would like as this 8 Hz mouvement intrigues me a lot

Indeed a pair full of contrasts.
These two always remind me of Princess Leia and Darth Vader.
I thought about hunting a Chopard 8Hx Chronometer to make the pair with the G.O.
Unfortunately when I met it in person for some reason I could not hear it sing its song to me. There must me something wrong with my ears.
Or maybe it just made too much a secret of its inner values?
Anyway, I will have to give it a second chance. It seems to be worth it.

The Chopard is more polarizing for sure. It has a "space" feel about it. The dial is pure black, and the markers feel like they float. Not everyone's taste this one, but it has found a stable home with me. For what these pieces cost, we must choose the ones that call the loudest. The 8HF is bid decibels, for me!
