I'm aiming to get a time-only watch next year and have shortlisted some options from the usual suspects like VC and Lange. Then my AD whips out this beauty - it's definitely making the list! What a mesmerizing dial!
My aim next year is my first diver. ..... i can say i have already a diver, but..... uh it is a diver i reject from my wrist. And anyway it is not waterresistant. I gave it away to my father, he even not wear that stupid watch. It is a famous brand, but i hate it. First, the strap broke to fast, then the chronograph hand stay out of acuracy. And i thought it was an automatic, and i discouver that it is a quartz. To the money i aspected an automatic. The answere is, it is no swiss watch, and that means it is rubish.
So, i want a real diver. A real diver from Switserland. A peace with a heart (ballance wheel), a brand that find it’s roots down in the 19th century. Ok, Seiko also founded in the 19th century. I want a diver who give me a smile on my face. These are my nominees: Omega seamaster 300m, Omega seamaster planet ocean 600m, Ulysse Nardin diver chronometer. The Omega have the co-axial movement, so it is solid as a rock, the chose from dials and cases are huge. I see next year which diver wil be my sea holiday companion.
