Thoughts on this new LUC 1860 release?

This is a very elegant piece and definitely worth considering. Depends on the price and accesability of course (10 pieces only)!
There was also a release with Rake & Revolution last year, which i really wanted as a first Chopard in my collection, but sadly gone in no time!

As i am also on the go for a first Chopard, we sit in the same boat.
It is not confirmed, but i follow the brand and sellers who can help me for the first one.
I found the quattro as a good entrance into Chopard.
I discussed the watch with my father recently, who is in shock of the price tag.
When i say, it would be a used one for that price, he say, 1K is huge enough for me.
Ok, ok, when platinum the case made of and a white gold crown, it is a fair price.
I hope you will find a decent 1860.

It's a WG case. There are no pictures online as far as I know. It was covered in an interview between mr Scheufele and Wei Koh from Revolution watch a couple of days ago on Youtube. It is made for the Hour Glass retailer.

Chopard makes wonderful watches, which don't get the attention they deserve, I think. I myself want a L.U.C. model.

An eye specialist who can check eye health, and have knowledge of pair of glasses.
I have measure my eyes recently, and i have choses for vari focal glasses with elite window technique.
Special for little letters and numbers.
In about two weeks my glasses are ready, and i can not wait to do the watch date window check.
If it is right, i can see the little tiny dates at watches without getting dizzy.

When I said, "I can't see it with my old eyes.", I meant, "I can't see it with my old NAKED eyes". Luckily, I have two pairs of glasses that do the trick,
but I don't wear them all the time. I was at the optometrist in Jan. He agreed that I have "old eyes", as in, unavoidable-with-age old eyes. ha!

Lucky i see good, but i have difficulties with date windows. With a loupe i check the date.
Sure i considered watches with a large date window, albeit the date is not a very important detail of a watch for me, albeit i bought a watch for it’s accurate date function. A perpetual calendar which is amazing it always keeps date.
When a month end, the date disc show the fling hour glass before number 1 appear.
The watch even is so accurate, only 1 second in a year failure.
In chronometer language it is ultra top notch chronometer.

Chopard LUC model yet. What a beauty. Wish they made more than 10 as I'm sure all 10 are spoken for already. That said, I reached out to the Hour Glass to inquire as to availability. Fingers crossed.
Welcome here! To answer your question, I would love it if there was not this hole made by the date, which ruins the beautiful dial.
Lovely piece but
It would be much nicer without the date. I am almost can’t believe I have become one of those - one of us - who chirps in to say this! But it is true almost always, and really in this case. I have become enamored w Chopard recently … they really are phenomenally designed and made watches IMO
