It wears quite large and bit top heavy. But I love the dial.
I also appreciate that Chopard didn’t just put in their round 3.96 in the back with spacers, but created a tonneau shaped caliber 3.97 for the watch.

That Chopard do not took the easy way is evidence that they take their work serious.

I like 'formed' movements very much and Chopard's dial work is both characterful and elegant. (Are those 'strap changing marks' on the back of two of the lugs, though? If so, it's time to see a good jeweller.)

For me too, a shaped case has to be fitted with a shaped movement. I would not accept a standard round movement being stuffed into the case.
