That Chopard do not took the easy way is evidence that they take their work serious. No quick money, but effort and understanding. A real opposite to Rolex if you ask me. Quick cash and get away with it will for the ones that are sensitive for following the fortunate versus the ones that embrace the passion for horology.
I like 'formed' movements very much and Chopard's dial work is both characterful and elegant. (Are those 'strap changing marks' on the back of two of the lugs, though? If so, it's time to see a good jeweller.)
