Chopard

First and foremost I would like to say thank you to Kong for all of his excellent work, not only on this forum, but the entire puristS site.  All of the hard work that you put into this site is a real benefit to puristS, and we are all lucky to have you.

I am a current owner of the MM GTXL LE Chrono 2007, and couldnt be happier with this watch.  It is a really beautiful watch as well as finely constructed.  As time passes, I am beginning to become more and more enamored with the Chopard Manufacturer.  The Lunar One is a stunning and intriguing piece, with its instantaneous perpetual, and the rest of the L.U.C line is both classic as well as progressive.

To me it just seems as though Chopard is very well balanced with all of their lines.  As far as movement finishing, I must say Chopard rivals any of the major Swiss and German brands.  In my humble opinion, Chopard represents some of the best finishing for your value in the industry.  I liken them to one of my other favorite brands Glashutte Original.  Both have a wide variety of lines i.e. sports, dress, and complications. Also, each has fresh and exciting designs as well as excellent finishing for the value.

This leads me to my question for all of you Chopard enthusiasts, especially those of you who like the L.U.C Twist model.  I am considering purchasing one of these versions of the Twist, and have researched these various versions extensively.  However, I would love to hear what everyones opinions are on this model.  Please tell me your preferences as well as reserves.  If you would like to show as well as tell with pics, please feel free.

 think the design is classic, and yet with a unique touch.

The white gold version is very distinctive with its design.  The precious metal aspect adds to its allure, and the movement (1.96) is a real beauty as well.  Decisions, Decisions, what am I to do?

dear all,

well, ever since i have seen the european tech twist i simply fell in love with it - for me it is simply a unique piece of beauty in all senses - again, i want to share some of my phtos (kong what you think?? ) with you.

unfortunately i did not manage to hold the sincere edition in my hands - but the european one speaks for itself i must say.

anyway, all models do have something special -but being a bit of a TECHy i do prefer this one over the other models - here again - it is in the eye of the beholder (correct word??)!

sometimes i need to force myself to wear my other watches every now and then since the day i bought the tech....  have a closer look at my pix and you will understand how this comes.

I love that watch soeren!  Perfect dial balance and the design is just awesome.  I showed your pics to some friends who are not watch fanatics, and they really loved the watch.  Im sure you will continue to get great use out of this watch for a long time to come.

Now, you have the pictures of all three versions to compare side by side.  All three are wonderful watches and you won't regret owning either.  In fact, you can own all three!  I know of someone who has both the Twist and Tech.

Sleep over them and see which one speaks to you most.

Well Scott, im an owner of the Sincere's Tech Twist model. I must say that im liking this watch more than my others! Although i will love to collect each of the Twist editions, but somehow, Sincere's model catches my eyes almost immediately!

I must say that which model suits you best depends on which 'talks' to you when u look at it. Sometimes, pictures might not tell a thousand words, especially for this 3 pieces that you will like to compare.

Hello Scott, Firstly a very good choice in looking for a twist.

With regards as to which is better ?? Buy both if you can. This will give you a choice to switch between a classic or a more avant garde wrist time.

As for being a WG Twist owner, I simply cannot stop looking at this piece,especially the beautiful 22k rotor, furthermore being a little sentimental towards LUC, the 1.96 calber being the 1st was my choice.

As for Sincere's Tech Twist, its a totally different perspective. High tech look with a solid, beautiful finish. Furthermore being limited, am sure it will be a treasured acquisition.

Ultimately it will boil down to what appeals to you most, which do you think will have more time on your hands.  Either way you decide, you will most certainly not be disappointed.

Hi,

I owned the L.U.C Tech Twist ( Sincere Edition) for a couple of months and I must stay its one of those watches that will grow on you time to time.  It's a joy looking at the dial (and see-thru back) details under different lightings and the dimension at 39mm is just nice (not too big or small).   At such price is unbeatable considering the high quality of the watch when compare to other brands and grab it while you can since this is limited.   

However, before any decision made, the best is to go to the boutique, put it on your wrist and see if you like it.  If not, go back a couple of more times I'm sure it will give you different emotions and at last if your eye and heart can't get over it then its time you hand in your check!

So my dealer called this morning with the good news that stock of the Tech Twist is finally being released in the US and I should get my hands on one soon. Will post as soon as I can add this to my existing Quattro and Strike One -- makings of quite a nice collection

Under low lighting, wristshot could be a challenge, not that bad for this pic .
