Chopard

Dear all,

I'm wondering if someone could help me on this important matter: In Switzerland I saw and tried on a black dial version of the Chopard Chrono Mille Miglia 2009 (42mm and unlimited version). But this version is nowwhere to see, neither on the official Chopard siteweb, neither on any catalogue or watch review siteweb (one can only find the ruthernium dial limited version)! I Of course I asked for the ref. number which is 286-080-2.

Does anybody have an idea what's going on?

The reference number is different to what Chopard used for their models.

Some pieces of the  2009 just launched, could you check if they are in:

It is quite strange that the ref. number doesn't correspond...
I looked carefully at the links and I think I have found the watch. If you take the picture on the link below it's the watch on the top in the middle: g

It's actually the exactly same model (same movement, same case) as this watch: but unlimited and with a black dial. And if you look on the chopard website you only find the older much smaller model.

The above grey dial is the 2009 LE, Ref 168511-3002.

For the same model as the above with a black dial, the Ref No is 168511-3001 .

Thank you very much! By googling the ref number, I finally found some infos about this watch.

As I saw in your profile that you're from Singapore, and as I'm going to spend a year there from this summer on, I was wondering if you knew if that model was available there (for example in the official Chopard store) and what the retail price would be (back in Switzerland in was 4500CHF=6025 SGD). I'm actually pretty intersted in that watch!

Thank for your help. When I saw the limited version, I just found it had something more than the black one! And in my opinion the unlimited version is going to be sold pretty fast...

I am new to this forum, so first I want to congratulate you; I am surprised with the breadth of information available.

I chose to use this old post for my message, because I find it very relevant:

 

I am interested in the MM Chronograph in the standard 39 mm stainless steel case.  I have noticed the 'existense' of a 39 mm LE(2009 pieces) ; a version in the characteristic grey-blue color found in the 42mm LE edition.

 Has anybody seen this watch? Initially I thought that it might be a fake, but I found it in 2 diferrent shops.
