Chopard L.U.C PuristSPro Event - Singapore
L.U.C expert, Mr Patrick Wehrli will be flying in to present the latest L.U.C novelties
and unveil the mastery of Chopard Manufacture.
For the first time, we could catch a glimpse of the minuscule parts of the
L.U.C 1.96 movement and see the fine craftsmanship that goes into manufacturing the components.
6pm, Boutique was close for the event ....
The decor ....

Julien, the Marketing Manager tested the two microphones ...
About 6:45pm ... some PuristS and guests arrived ....

7:30pm, Presentation began ...
The small containers on the tray consist of the components of Cal 1.96 .
A full strip-down was presented the first time for guests to see for themselves the superb finishing of L.U.C craftmanship.
Most importantly the feel & touch session!
Another new station ... the strip down of one of the L.U.C X.96 at one station...
The Qualite Fleurier ... 3 pieces were present and the '001 /250' was sold in the evening!
Other watches seen .... (many more, just that I could manage to take them :-p)
OK, ...one of them always like to be early ...so the watch was adjusted 10 mins faster!

At 10pm, we left though some still unwilling to.

L.U.C 1.96 is fasinating.
Chopard L.U.C is really on par with other top brands, if not better.

Lusciously Uber Chopard
Thoroughly enjoyed the evening with so many old friends and new ones too. The XPS was very attractive to many of us for its simplicity and the fact that it has a open caseback.
Only wished Joe and I had more time to talk to Patrick. His eagerness in sharing his knowledge is most delightful for collectors. Well, there will be another time!

That same evening, strangely a poll with 5 of our friends...all want XP Black dial with the open caseback, not the XPS

If you guys are asking for the XP to have a open caseback, how about the RG Classic QF also in open caseback option? ;-)
Somehow after seeing a Master Engraver's work...
Perhaps one day, we can have affordable customized engraved caseback.

I began with the Chrono One, and was impressed by its level of finish and quality.

Patrick Wehrli is inimitable and apparently as indomitable as Maxime Labey and his team are the perfect charming hosts.
Friends met and reacquainted included both the watch variety and the living, breathing kind.
Needs must get myself an XP. Black is the new black.

lovely evening . This flagship store really enhances the CHOPARD experience and it is also such a cosy place for gathering of friends that we have to leave reluctantly way past the official closing time (our apologies to the warm and hardworking staff !!!)

Fantastic Spread of New Models
