Chopard

Chopard friends, I recently bought the Chopard LUC Qualite Fleurier.

I've been a quiet admirer of this watch and when one finally became available (new), I grabbed it. But I have a question - are the number of bees on the back always the same? I thought I read it somewhere that they have between 43 and 45 bees. Is this correct?

So far we heard it is that quantity.

There should be variation as each piece was manually hand-engraved by a Master Engraver in Geneva.

No particular reason as to why the engraver made it that way.  May be he/she has lost count.

Thanks Kong and Ling for sharing. Mine has 44 bees - 16, 14 and 14.

I will try to post some nicer pictures when time permits. For now, I am just enjoying my QF - what a beauty! Here are some quick shots.

How did you select this piece among so many L.U.C models and also, there is a second edition of the QF with see-through caseback?


Just for fun, the official logo has 45 bees   Easier to add than remove I guess.

brown straps from the start?

I prefer brown straps for this watch, since the chapter ring on the dial is brown ( not black).

I have a few brown straps for this piece, some have nice contrast stitching.
