I am thinking of buying Chopard Mille Miglia gt xl power reserve and one thing confuses me, some watches appears to have engraved L.U.C on the back and some dont? Is there any rule on this or...

The earlier batch of casebacks have the 'LUC' engraved, which rightfully should not be, as it LUC should be the L.U.C line.
Subsequently, seems like it has been changed.
Whatever it is, if you are not buying from authorised dealers or boutiques, there is a risk, it could be not genuine.
Papers are important too.
Not much I could say, only please consider if the saving is worth it as compared buying from a brick and mortar authorised dealers.

LUC logo on the caseback for the MM are fake.
Previously there were some quantity that have the marking.
