The Chopard LUC 1.96 is a classic watch and it will be treasured by many in the years to come.
Love the colour of the dial, I believe it is call Salmon Pink?? or Champagne.
You are indeed very lucky to secure this watch as the limited series was introduced more than 10 years ago and I thought would have all been sold by now. Even securing one in the used market is just as difficult. Maybe Chopard has yet to reach the limit for this dial colour. Yours is numbered at 207/1860 which seems fairly early in the series and perhaps there are more available.
The movement features the Geneva Seal, the swan neck regulator, the beautiful finishing and the micro-rotor (yours is even in PT950 - Platinum), are what make this 1.96 LUC series a real classic.
Wear it in good health and I am sure to the envy of many (WIS or not) when they see it.

How do you know the micro-rotor is platinum? Isn't it white gold?

The microrotor of calibre 1.96 comes in either 22K gold or Platinum. So you have a good question - could it be 22K white gold? Well, to my understanding for 16/1860/2 when the rotor is 22k - it is in yellow gold. However, to be sure you can check the marking on the rotor - "22K" or "950" just below the Chopard Logo.

I hope I have not misled anyone with my limited knowledge. 

Have been keeping busy and away from the temptation of the new crops of watches released.

Also trying to wear the pieces that I have more often - taking time to reminiscence on why I bought them and recollecting the pleasure I had (and still have) when they are on my wrist.  In doing so, going back to small (~32mm), simple, manual wind, time only pieces.  Sort of a returning to the starting point - such is life.

W72, you know your stuff well and even make effort to take a very NICE picture of the rotor to provide an illustration.  I appreciate that!

Would the resistance to temptation be futile?   If not, then there's hope for the watch brands, that the newer products are still appealing.

I like what you are doing, taking time to recollect the pieces bought!  We are not we are because of our memories.

32mm, is cool if we enjoy it.  The smallest I have is a vintage 35mm, still wearing it and loving it!

Initially I don't like this dial colour, after seeing your pictures, it looks good! 

Now I wondered if my friend regretted changing hers to blue dial

With more choices in the L.U.C range now, any reason you chose the 1860?
