Chopard

I think these tourbillons look mighty sexy, elegant, and sporty all at the same time. 

Plus, I really adore the Engine One case.  Am I correct in saying that this Engine One case is only for tourbillon models?  If so, does anyone else wish that Chopard releases a more affordable version using the Engine One case?  Maybe a chronograph version?  Now that would be killer IMO.

more than the latest from Basel 2011.  Its an amazing looking watch. I am totally smittened.  It also has the perfect name and matches their racing pedigree.

a more affordable time-only could be planned as the tonneau L.U.C 3.97 could be fitted in nicely. Will be great if the platine can be decorated like the car engine too maintaining a dialess watch. Even more fabulous if the micro-rotor could be flipped over to the front side.

As for Chronograph, likely a new redesigned tonneau shaped caliber instead of just placing a round movement inside the EOT case. Will be a new and huge investment. Definitely will be nice for the EOT case.

but only the original version, which stay true to the car inspired theme. the later versions, with the ugly orangy red hour markers makes the watch look gimmicky. even the straps on the original version reminds one of those vintage car seats. 

and i agree with you, a chrono would be fantastic, and more affordable.

and stay true to the "theme" and give it legitimacy.  I would not like to see this turned into something Richard Mille does with is to throw the colours of the rainbows at it and call each one a LE.
