Mine says hello! Supposed to date from 1938, but I'm not so sure - I have an old book that shows similar up to 1950's. Case is all 14ct gold. Keeps good time. Not worn much and is small for my small wrist. Seems G-P had a fashion for hidden lugs. I am at work and the watch is boxed in a drawer at home. If anyone is interested I will do d wrist-shot later.

Here are two wrist shots of my very vintage G-P as promised. Note domed crystal. To gauge the size, the strap is 19mm at the lugs. Further delay unfortunately because I will have to search for the book entry and scan the page for tomorrow UK time as I am away from home. PeterCDE wrote a few years ago on here an interesting long article about the calibre 86 G-P movement and its comparison with the Mimo FE86.
There is a number 936944 inside the case back and the movement has the reference 86 4213. The movement seems to have been imported and cased in USA.

Here is a slightly fuzzy picture of the G-P calibre 86 indicating the date as circa 1948. Maybe the watch was in production for a long while from 1938? My book is Complete Price Guide to Watches by Tom Engle, Richard E Gilbert and Cooksey Shugart 2013 (33rd) edition published by Tinderbox Press. I appreciate we do not discuss values, so I won't!
Unfortunately Pastaboy 1939's watch does not appear in my book.
