Another Girard-Perregaux Olimpico on the wooden beam.
This time the 8862 from 1968.




The case is pretty much the same as the 6557, but the 8862 is a three register/12hours chronograph while the 6557 is a 30minutes chronograph.
The third sub-dial makes the dial more busy, but the "Olimpico" makes it more interesting!

Very nice, (more than very nice, really) but the black dial was incredible. By the way, did you bring the beams home or are some of your new posts shots you took during the summer that you saved up?

I took more shots during the summer than I had time to post....

I find the 8862 very cool, but the 8846 has a slight edge over it.
