Requesting Info about Original 1945 I just acquired
I've seen a few of these on this forum, but I have a few questions. I haven't seen any with pictures of the cal 91 movement or the interior of the case. How long were these made and about how many? I've seen some reference the model as 5420 and others 5080. Were these 2 models? The one I have has 5080 stamped on the back of the case. It also has 80 stamped on the interior steel portion of the top of the case. Is there a way to tell the age of these. Mine has serial number 91 1537 on the movement and 99 stamped on the interior of the case. Thanks for any info and sorry about so many questions!

Like yours, mine is also Ref 5080.
Until I found mine, I was only aware of Ref numbers 5420 and 5418, with 5420 is the two-tone case like the 5080 while the 5418 is an all steel case.
They are quite rare and hard to find, but actual production numbers we don't know. They are dated around mid 40s but probably have been in production for a few years.
Caliber 91 is the correct movement for this watch. There are quite a few rectangular GPs from that time period with that caliber, so this one is relatively easy to find.

I wonder if the 5080 was short lived. From looking at a couple of 5420s and 5080s maybe there was just a change to the subsecond dial? Is the number 99 on the case back a serial number possibly? I'd be interested to know the serial of your cal 91 and if there is a number on the interior of the case back of yours. Thanks for your info!

my movement is 91 BF 2105 numbered.
Not sure what the "99" is, but I doubt it is a serial number.
The inside of my caseback is not stamped.
What's the other GP you have?
