what do you think of the new GP Laureato Tourbillion
im not sure about this one in particular as in this case it reminds me a lot a LOT with the RO Tourbillon the only distinction is the signature GP tourbillon Bridge
the previous Laureato Tourbillon (the skeleton version it came in has a different movement and the tourbillon is positioned between 11:55 and 12 ) so it is quit distinct and unique in its looks
but this one I cant really say the same although it does look nice but I did hope for something more original than this iteration
The first doesn’t do much for me.
It seems like a tourbillon for tourbillon sake. You take a clean dial and slap a Tourb in it without really integrating the elements. The visual balance is awkward.

AFAIK the latter is a flying tourby. The prior has an automatic micro-rotor winding mech with the GP signature bridge. The latter luks like a very industrial CAM cut design while the...
....prior has more refined feel to it. Sort of like a open factory loft vs fully furnished condo. Both are exquisite nonetheless with superlative finished parts (bridges, cage, screws ). Now, AP tourby is manual-wind compared to the micro-rotor auto mvmt in GP. AP is more subtle but GP tourbillion has an unmitigated presence. I wud vote original here.

But the true GP original is the Laureato 3 Bridges Tourbillon. I would take the spinel bridges. My all-time favorite.

You have been quicker than me posting the new blue dial Laureato wth single bridge Tourbillon...but that's cool.
Now quickly here is my view and it may be contrary to what most others think.
I actually applaud GP for this new release and I very much like it.
First, it takes the already existing Laureato Tourbillon with single bridge a step further by increasing the bridge and having it more pronounced like the classic GP bridge with bigger arrows.
They reduced the case size from 45mm to 43mm, which again is great for me.
The case and bracelet is all Titanium rather than a mix of gold/titanium, also gets my thumbs up.
And they have kept the fantastic movement with the micro-rotor on the back. I have seen many Haute Horlogerie GPs but this movement on the back has the most stunning finishing.
The Skeleton with Flying Tourbillon is nice, but for me cannot compete with the classic golden bridge Tourbillon.

The single bridge tourbillon came before the flying tourbillon one
We have here the classic issues of GP: too many references and in the end we are lost.
Let's hope that the future CEO will understand that the multiplication of references leads to nothing except confusion.

There is something with the shape of the case I cant put my finger on. Never been a fan of that style.
I have no issues with the rest. A lot of face dial tourbillons to choose from now days
