First modern GP
The watch is great! The date change is a bit finicky. Mine seems to jump the date when pulling out the crown during the PM hours and setting it. Not sure if that's normal but runs and looks great!
Yea it's the 42mm
It rare that my AD gets these pre owned and I happen to be in the market for a second watch when I saw it. Tried it on and after years of evey brand you just know! This was perfect. Looks great. Movement finishing is seriously up there with the best of them.

After a year of convincing myself
The 42 mm was too large for my 7 inch wrist , I finally went and tried it on, pre-owned. One of the best choices I ever made. It’s an awesome watch I’ve worn on weekends and also in the office. Previously I owned the white dial , in 38 mm. It wore like a 36, which was a bit small for my liking. So mine is the 42, which actually wears more like a 41, and on some days even a 40 mm, lol. Enjoy!

Not normal for the date to jump when pulling out the crown.
You can try letting the power run down and then rotating the hands for 48 hours to have the date change they way.
That sometimes solves date wheel/ hear issues.
If not, I suggest taking back to your AD to check.

I don't need a week to know
The GP is a top tier, accurate and most of all comfortable watch. I have found myself looking at the dial in different lighting conditions and popping it off wrist to look at the movement. It's finished to a level above Piaget, Cartier and Chopard and the likes of a JLC Polaris. I'll say this. I got a VC overseas just this same week and I have been wearing the GP since getting it. That's how good it is.
I would consider the chronograph version from GP now as well.

The 42 mm blue, black and silver dials
All have the “1791” on the dial. All the others have the single bridge.
The only answer I could get was that GP is still clearing old stock.
I don’t understand that because it has been about 17 months since the single bridge came out for the copper dial.
I think maybe they are going to discontinue the 42 mm and don’t want to hassle with the change in the machining and such. Or they really have cupboard and cupboard if blue dial and such already printed out.
The dials are stamped. The size of the stamps for the “1791” is smaller than that of the single bridge. Don’t think they want to waste what has been already stamped.
Green dial is with the single bridge. The rehaut color is different from the blue etc.

Seems strange
The bridge logo has nothing to do with a Laureato! I guess it doesn't not matter but you might be right. I see the bridge on the new green dial as well. I prefer the 1791!

I recommended to them to change the 1791 to the single bridge for all. Used to be only certain models of the laureato such as the onyx dial ☺️

The trick is just don't use the quick date change during PM hours or remove some slack with the crown before position 2. Problem solved!
Btw my model is from 2019 and it's one of the most accurate watches I have owned over a 5 day period. Basically almost dead on! I checked and the amplitude is also well into the 300's. Very good movement!
