But it is also much larger at 44mm diameter x 14.55mm height. I, personally, strongly prefer 38mm to 44mm case size.

although I am not into their later versions:

Is it 38mm in diameter, isn't it? Mine is in a different case and with manual movement but not too bad either.

The watch isn't mine - the dealer who owns it said that it is 39 mm. Here is its back:

The case of mine has an interesting shape, it is a frustum with 38mm width at the top of the case and 39mm at the bottom.
