Does anyone has experience concerning servicing a GP "equation espace", quartz mvt. from the middle of the 80's? Handing it over to the local GP agent? Sending it to La-Chaux-de-Fonds? Any comments appreciated and thanks for considering, Alexander
i´d suggest to touch base with Munich. It´s a piece i wouldn´t entrust everyone, simply because it´s really unusual under the hood. The stepping motors may be something a number of watchmakers did come across before, but it´s a really fine watch and the mechanical components of the complication are best treated with experience.
In any case, it deserves some proper care. These are lovely watches!
My pleasure! The complications of the "Techniques" line are GP propietory developments, so it´s not just special, but really best to do for servicing is to send it home!
