What do you think will be GP´s most expensive news in 2009?
G'day,
it´s a little over a month until SIHH and for many brands, the "guessing game" is on.
For GP, we hat a lot of stunning surprises - the "Jackpot", the Bi-Axis tourbillon, the new Constant escapement.
In 2009, SIHH will take place very early; this may limit the number of news (which may not be a bad thing), but there may be some really "big things". And at least one more stunning surprise, although that one will not be for faint-hearted or shallow-pocketed watch lovers.
So what´s your guess for GP´s high-end collection?

The new Constant escapement will be in production earlier than expected in 2009.
I would like to see GP come out with their own chrono graph movement instead using DD module
New case material light and strong as titanium
- A redesign Richeville slightly bigger case.

I would like to see vintage 1966 pepatual Tourbillon with enamel dial , wwtc pepatual tourbillon with enamel dial & Skeleton LAUREATO EVO ³ TOURBILLON.

Partially not way off, but....
Among GP´s most expensive units are Jackpot Tourbillon and Opera 3 (each retails about half a million Euro). These basically feature very special functions, which are difficult to built.
Other expensive watches feature precious materials and expensive production methods, so there are different factors which result in a very costly (and very very rare) watch.
So - what could be more expensive than the Jackpot?
