I think we all know the feeling of a new watch on the wrist, and it's something you want to make the most of. The Evo3 is an impressive sports watch and I am pleased to read you comments about size and fit. It often comes down to lugs and case/bracelet design and it's the little details that count.
Look forward to your photos.

Andrew
Hello all
Thank you very much for the warm welcome and positive responses
Please see pics
Sorry about the quality but you get the drift

Thanks for persevering with the photo up-loader!
The Evo3 looks cool and the size is good for your wrist. I love the colours against this white dial and the bracelet suits the watch. What is you opinion on the unique date display mechanism?

Thank you for the response
My pictures dont capture the 3d effect of the dial fully but give a good impression (i think)
The bracelet is so comfy that you dont realise you are wearing it
The dial size, while largest i have ever worn, doesnt feel oversized
Now, the date display and changer - these are both excellent. The date is clear and legible and the change is smooth and crisp. Its not a gradual slow move over, more a crisp snap and instant change. Bang on midnight as well (no lead in and out like the slower dial moves)
Overall i am still smiling and keep looking at her (in winder while i work from home) and wearing her wth love and care
My first impression of her was wonderful and stunning - nothing has made me think any differently
They say first impressions are usually the best and the ones that count and i couldnt agree more

yorkshiremark67,
Everytime I see that watch (and that is a rare occurrence), I have conflicted feelings.
On one hand, it looks a happy face with a riot of colour and especially the funky red big date.
On the other hand, it may be too 'scattered' with stuff going on everywhere.
Inspired by 'Mrs Robinson', this graduate watch line has been the mainstay of many university students' gifts from proud parents at their graduation.
I've never seen one in-the-wild and not in a shop.
Thanks for sharing your joy,
MTF

Thanks for the comments
I understand your sentiment but for me it is an excellent item
My favourite complications are Moon Phase and Power Reserve
So this gives me both. Added to this the additional complication/accuracy of each of these complications above and its a clear choice winner
The colour makes the aspects easier to read and lends a 'statement' to the watch which is (i feel) look at me and my functions then i will just fade back out of sight
A "sports - mix - classic" is my definition of her
Watch this space for another installment as i now await the 'matching chrono'
All the best
Mark
Blend on the shape of the case ( Ocotgonal bezel /< round case ).
Blend of the dial: Sporty, and somehow dressy, too.
Not everybody's taste, but this is the apanage of watches with strong character.
Congratulations, Mark.
Best,
Nicolas.

Thanks for the observation and kind comment
I agree that the mix and blend is, perhaps, bordering on the 'marmite' factor but to me i love all about it
Watch for incoming chrono and strap change alternatives (dark brown croco ordered from GP)
Kind regards
Mark
