Well, problem is that most watches reminds us of another watch.
A classic two register with blue dial will always reminds us of the most famous two register / blue dial out there...
Same for all other watches unless you go for something really different - like the Constant Escapement!

Still, I think the GP 1966 hold it's own even if there are similar watches on the market!
But I might be biased... If we ask Baron about this one I am sure he will have another view...!

not such a radical "no date" person. I can live with a date window if the rest of the package is well designed, but on the new 1966 Chrono, why on earth put a golden frame around the date ???

I agree, the date mess the dial, but not totally.
In another design/configuration I think that I even would like the date window...
