A complication combining the annual calendar and the equation of time functions in a movement reflecting the watchmakers’ skill in seeking to reproduce celestial movements.

I love the idea, a lot.

Now, I would display it a bit differently. I would give it more importance on the dial.

EOT displays the "End of Time". That would be a rather cosmological complication. Maybe they know something we don't...

.. What, in fact, does one do with the information of EOT ?
Is this - just pure eclectic indication ( see Nico) - or does it serve a purpose,
(maybe to somehow know about the "correct" time) ?

explains the difference between time as we know it, and time as shown on a super accurate sun dial, because the sun is not at the highest point in the sky at 12:00:00 every day. Some days it's 15 minutes early or 15 minutes late.
