Friends,
After showing you La Esmeralda yesterday I can’t resist to post a shot of the modern version of the Three Golden Bridges!
Even in this modern “minimalistic” case compared to La Esmeralda, the movement is to die for!
But I would also like to show you “the other side”. The side of the movement we seldom see or talk about…
The original dial side. As you saw yesterday on La Esmeralda, the dial is located on the opposite side of the movement, away from the Three Golden Bridges!
On the wrist watch version of the Three Golden Bridges movement the dial is moved to the bridge side, leaving the backside kind of empty…
It is still a beautiful movement with exquisite finish… But of course, this side can’t be measured with the bridge side. On the other hand, this side was originally never meant to be shown, hidden behind the dial!
On the modern Pocket Watch version, the dial is still located as on the original Three Golden Bridges.
Sorry to tell you this, but this is a watch I will come back to – over and over again…
It is such a dream watch!

Nice pictures, by the way.

Thank you, my friend!
It is hard to take a "bad" photo of this beauty!
