Yesterday our dear CrownComfort showed us his NOS Funky Seventies Gold Day-Date…
A super cool watch!
He confessed that he bought the watch even if he was not sure if he would like the watch…
At least he got a good deal and a NOS watch with some goodies included in the deal!
After reading CC’s post, it got me thinking…. Do I do the same?
Na, I would NEVER buy a watch I don’t…. Hm, wait a minute…
Last night I looked through one of my GP drawers and found several “things” I bought without knowing if I would like them….
OK, confession time: I do buy watches I am not sure if I will like!
Among the “things” I found in the drawer was a Gold Plated watch that is in bad need of a service…
Gold Plated? That is really not my cup of tea… Not even any goodies were included in the deal…
BUT, when it is a on a Gyromatic Chronometer HF, ref 9086 FG with stunning black dial!
Yes, then it is hard to resist…
In my defense, I got it for a bag of chips a long time ago…
Please don’t think less of me!
