with fellow purists friends.
Here is my latest acquisition (from a trade): GP 1999 Chronograph Ref.4946.
I feel obliged to share this piece for the following reasons:
1. As I found earlier with Montblanc, PuristSPro has a large GP loving crowd with a passion for the brand.
2. The best review of the GP 1999 Chronograph Ref. 4946 is definitely the one written by our AndrewD here at PuristSPro.
3. And it is this great review, with insightful despription and fantastic photos, that leads me to the decision of acquring this particular watch.
As you can see from the photos, the 38mm case with curved lugs fits my skinny wrist nicely.

I've only got this watch a couple of hours ago, and have only taken a few quick phone shots, which certainly do not do the watch justice. Nevertheless, I would stil love to share my delight with you guys.

It's rather sad that GP is not widely received here in Taiwan. The good news is, in late 2014, GP had reorganised its team and adjusted its marketing strategy, aiming to reestablish the ground and bring back the glory of the brand. I wish them all the best.
Nice classic Chronograph. Ok, there is still this small detail, the date, which I would prefer to not exist on this dial, but for the rest, cool Watch!
Like you, I wish the best to GP for the years to come. Success and great watches.
Best,
Nicolas
about the symmetry of the dial. Very interseting. I must admit that photoshoped picture with the date window removed actually looks fantastic. Anyway, I'm not really bothered with the date window, and find it useful to me.
Great catch, huge congratulation!
I must say that the date window do not bother me here.
Yes, GP is deserve much more recognition.
Wish the GP Taiwan team all the best!
Best
