lack of any info regarding the dial or the caseback really making me worried as well....
Seems like omega cal 26.5 T2 PC 15 p, but no sign inside the caseback... Any idea?

It looks authentic to my eyes . . .
. . . but I've little experience with Omegas prior to the cal 30. Possibly a national production item with movement and dial sourced from Switzerland, but cased elsewhere?
I wouldn't be concerned about the feasibility restoring it, but there doesn't seem to be quite as much interest in this earlier period of Omega than the post-cal 30 era. It would be worthwhile to check parts suppliers to see if movement parts are still readily available.
