Speedmaster professional query?
I generally gravitate towards 39mm dimensions.Would highly appreciate your thoughts on a 42mm Speedmaster, in terms of wearability and fit in comparison to say a daytona or a RO? Many thanks in advance.

It will be just fine as it indeed wears smaller.
Other option is try to get the ‘57 Speedmaster Trilogy Edition. It is 38.6 mm. Better hurry ;-)
Wears smaller than 42 mm and smaller than a Daytona
...while appearing larger than a Daytona (previous generations) due to the bezel differences.
IMO, the Speedy Pro (especially the hesalite version) is one of the most comfortable references.

I have a very small wrist (16cm) and I wear max 40mm watches. With 2 exceptions!
1. Speedmaster: it is actually a 40mm watch if you measure it
2. Hublot Classic Fusion: also here: the 42mm size is measured only 40mm

Never trust only the size mentioned from the manufacturer. Lug to lug is also a very important measure. Both are below 50mm, which is also crucial for me... 😉
