I'm, by a large margin, not a quartz/battery watches lover but I open an exception to the X-33 line.
Had several X-33 gen 1 (most common here) and one day I got this X-33 gen 2 and I have it for years.
Reliable, reasonably accurate (the movement is not thermo compensated, like the most recent X-33) and is always ready to wear.
Pictures of this foggy morning, against the Sun that was trying to break the clouds.

I would love to see more X-33 here.

We all know of the watch models in this range and have seen them in the shops but I've not seen one on-the-wrist.
They must sell thousands of these but not to my friends (except you).

I don't consider myself a true collector ...
I use Susan Sontag definition for a collector (From the "Volcano Lover"):
"The collector's need is precisely for excess, for surfeit, for profusion ... Someone who hesitates, who asks, "do I need this?" "is it really necessary?" is not a collector. A collection is always more than is necessary."
I try very hard to stay away from this definition.

A collector makes sets of things that make sense in their context.
A set that is missing one component is incomplete.

Mine is a Gen1 that I converted to a Gen2 many years ago after buying the Gen2 pushers, crown, and bezel from Omega.
I hadn't worn my X-33 in several years but decided I could use it for a class I was taking last weekend -- though actually, I knew this was just an excuse to finally wear the watch again because I really didn't need it for the class.
