I’m tempted by this to go with my Spectre SM300.
Usually the watch comes with the movie.
So this should be the watch to that movie, if I am not wrong.
I believe this watch is the 50th anniversary of “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service”
The Omega website states, “a secret number 50 is hidden in the luminescent material of the 10 o’clock hour-marker – a reference to the 50th anniversary of the James Bond film "On Her Majesty's Secret Service.” And the announcement on Hodinkee refers to the watch with that appellation. To be fair, the Omega web page calls the model simply, “James Bond Limited Edition.” So perhaps Hodinkee’s headline is incorrect? Who knows?
I expect another LE when Bond 25 is released. With luck, that watch will feature the same design restraint Omega used on the lovely Spectre model.

i find this design overdone and over-busy.
Not that it matters, since the Omega website already states, “We're sorry, but this product is no longer available.” I guess those limited 7,007 pieces found customers readily.

I just don’t get it. IMHO this would look better on a closed caseback. But, why are they trying to prevent us from seeing a great movement?

My thoughts are: Yes, it is a nice watch. Not immidiately my seamaster of choice, but a nice seamaster.
For the ones who are in for a limited edition seamaster, or to collect for the coins, this might be a good investment.
If i take the old Bond seamaster, on chrono24 the traders think they hit the bull, but nobody wants it.
So wear a watch with love, and do not buy watches for trade purposes only.
