Of the three 60th Anniversary models, the SM300 . . .
. . . was arguably nearest to replicating the gestalt of the original. I went for the Rail owing to my fascination for the CK2914, fully aware the automatic movement broke with the design of the original. The following year, Omega introduced a manual wind movement, cal 8929, that had it been fitted, would've rendered the Rail a mirror image of the archetype.
Perhaps there will be another CK2914 homage in the future fitted with a cal 8929 movement. You did well to go for the most faithful of the three, Fernando.

Actually I also went for the Railmaster first...
when they were both available at an airport boutique two years ago. Only recently, did I pick up the SM 300 when I noticed that they were still around and even offered at a discount.
