… who made that outstanding achievement for Humankind:
Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins and Edwin Aldrin.
I will never forget that night of July20th 1969 watching our B&W TV set with my Dad those not very clear but awesome images we were receiving from the Moon.
It was a rare feeling of amusement, excitement and certainty that we were living a most historical and important and unforgettable event for Humankind.
Let’s offer our humble homage to these brave men!

My big pleasure to share Edgatk. Yes, I know. As a matter of fact my wife has some family in Zamora and she visited the town a few years ago. Regrettably I couldn´t accompany her on that trip.
Hopefuly she will visit again some day and I will make company to her. She was fascinated with the place and region.

... when visiting the Museum. Probably the biggest grail for a Speedmaster lover and collector. Absolutely out of reach of course! Nice to know they are well preserved in the Museum!!

53rd anniversary remember it well
Watched it on a black and white TV and ran out back to see if I could see it from the back yard as clearly as I could on TV!! Landed at 20:16 GMT.
My son defended his masters thesis today. He works for a NASA lab and hopes to work on the next Lunar Lander. It has indeed been a long time!!
