Omega Chronoscope
Hello all, I acquired this Omega Chronoscope a month ago. At that time, I wasn't sure whether to purchase it or not. It took me 1 week to decide to buy it. Am glad that I did. Good or bad, the watch is quite heavy due to the size and thickness of the case.
One of the scarcest Omega chronographs . . .
. . . of recent times. Can't recollect if anyone in our forum owned one; I don't believe Nilo did, and he collected current production exclusively.

Here is my much simpler Chronoscope.
Not the kind of watch you use to time sprints on the track
I think it should be used for more important timing events, like how long you ponder whether to sign a contact for a new home, or how many minutes you delay when purchasing a large block of stocks in a crazy market, or the countdown to responding to a job offer... (or wedding proposal)
It's a device that significant and beautiful.

A very attractive watch. That said, in gold a heavy one, too. Just strap it on tight and you'll learn not to notice the weight.
That really is a stunning looking Omega De Ville Co-Axial Chronoscope.
It really looks special and a serious hunk of gold too plus the case back is nice and different as well.

You got a gorgeous gold version which I didn’t know existed.
I own an standard steel version which I love so much as it arrived to my collection a few years ago as a gift from a very dear friend who regrettably passed away some time after this present.
So this is a very special watch to me as it reminds me of my good old friend (also a fine collector and watch lover) and the many good moments spent together talking about many subjects (and about watches of course).

Please don’t feel embarrassed dear Art! It would be surprising that …
… you could remember all watches owned by different members of our community… including some of them no longer participating here like Nilo, (a nice and fine collector and great photographer) among others.
It’s easy to understand you could miss my watch or Nilo’s or from any other members.
By the way I only posted it when I received it as a gift from my dear friend in about October 2022.
