Hi Guys,

Just got myself (as in deposit paid) a 105.012 66 Speedmaster - it seems to be in very nice original condition.

I'll try and post some photos soon.

My question is - what should the proper period buckle look like for this watch (and if you know where I can get one then pm's would be gratefully appreciated!).

I have found it on a famous online auction site ;-)

I like to try and be authentic where possible.

Now the difficult task of choosing a strap!!

The Sixty Omega buckle , at lest the ones I have seen are been more sq edge ( need to find a pic or take one!) .   But the buckle that you have is one of my favorite styles.  

For a strap I have as of late picked up a few Shell Cordovan straps.  They wear like steel !!

I have put one on my 2998, will take a few pics and will post them later !
