Hi everyone - Michel posted his first but i just thought I'd share my new Alaska with you aswell. This is one Speedy special that I think is really worth having - it's not an ordinary Speedy with a number but a really nice re-creation of an interesting old watch! It comes in a great package too. The strap on my watch is an Omega X-33 strap. It's black (well more like very dark grey) kevlar weave with a nice leather lining. It really is a fantastic strap and I can't stress enough how good it looks on the Alaska - I hope this shows in the photo. I had some help in selecting and obtaining this from the London boutique - thanks to them. I'm really pleased with this watch and hope that all fellow owners enjoy theirs too. Best to all. Vernon.

And great to see a dark strap on it, it looks really great, so i'm sure now, that all the Alaska's projects are deliverd without a dark strap, that's a shame, but still the watch is more then great, enjoy it

Hi guys, This is the package the Alaska comes in. It's a really nice box in a grey material with black lining and velcro closure. The watch comes with the iconic red anodised aluminium temperature protective case, two white velcro straps (one short for just the watch and one long for when the aluminium case is fitted - this is set out in the certificate/instruction leaflet included), metal bracelet, strap changing tool (red anodised aluminium) and a spare 'bit' and spare spring bars - all in really neat red aluminium tubes/cases. They live under the lift out tray with the case. It's a great set - they've got this just right! Sorry the photo is'nt great - my camera (and skills!) has it's limitations. Best, Vernon.
