Omega

Ok I am obviously new. But I am trying to figure out what model this watch is and what year it might have been. I went on old omega website and looked thru like 30 brochures and didn't find it. I have more pictures if you need them.
Can anyone help? I would really appreciate it!!

it looks to be a mid to late 60s manual wind Omega in gold.   It might have a caliber 302 movement under the hood, but this is just a good guess...  A photo of the back of the watch would also be helpful.

The story is my wife's grandmother had this basically new looking watch in an omega box with some coins and dollars from 1902 in her bedroom for god knows how many years. She passed away a couple years ago, and we found it about a month ago. We believe it was her grandfather's watch (he passed a way a few years before grandma) . None of us had heard of omega watches, sadly. Other than the watch and the box, we had no other information about it or with it. So we are left with a mystery. I haven't taken the back off yet, but I don't think it is wind, because no one has touched it in a couple years and after i picked it up it started working shortly after. I am not sure about the mechanisms because I really am just learning about watches. Omega seems like they make really neat watches, I have been looking at some of the newer models myself. Very nice workmanship, it seems.

So that is pretty much the story I will probably remove the back this weekend because I was on omega's vintage site and it seems if I put the model and a couple other numbers in, it might be able to tell me what it is..

So I popped open the back. The caliber appears to be 625. There is an omega logo with the number 40411646 on the mechanism. The inside of the back case says Omega watch co. 20 Microns Gold plated top Stainless Steel back Made in England DD6349 (which appears that DD reference is used on watches in the US collection, which would make sense).

I searched omegas site with this info and have come up with nothing. So I sent in a request for them to identify it.

THe only thing that is different is mine says "Made in England"

UK Omega says the watch was made in England or so.

My guess is that 615 was shipped globally, and cased and dial signed in the host country.  And some how the watch came to the states.
