Have Omega ever made a Perpetual Calendar?
i was ony thinking this morning that in all the years i've collected Omegas i dont think i've ever seen a mechanical perpetual calendar. they do the cosmic triple date moonphase and the speedmaster triple date which arent even annual calendars. they also do the constellation quartz 'perpetual calendar' which doesnt count.
if anyone can come up with a perpetual or annual calendar model please post it.

in the Louis Brandt collection as well now i think about it, but nothing else
comes to mind. the question is why? when everyone else has a perp or at least an
annual calendar why dont Omega do one as standard?

P.S. about the perpetual calendar. Why Omega is not focusing on one ? Simply because the perpetual calendar is not so perpetual after all... Allow me to explain : at every 2 or 3 years a watch must be serviced right ? And in service, the watch is disassembled and oiled and stuff ... and then the date is set again. Why does anyone need a perpetual calendar, if we can't create a perpetual watch ("Extreme Lab" is out of question - we are talking Omega here) ?

your only watch in between services it is invaluable. sadly most people who buy
a perp have a collection already so it only gets worn on special
occasions.

Three models I know of
in 1984, the Louis Brandt calibre 716, in 193 pieces
In 1985 (I think) a Speedmaster (!?) pocket watch, 18 pieces, I think?
In 1991, Louis Brandt II, calibres 1116, 1117 and 1118 -- a base, a skeleton and a 21k gold rotor version, total of 1193 pieces

the Louis Brandt collection would have had one. it seems they have only come out
in special editions which is a shame when everyone else makes one as
standard.
a review of them on the omega forum? if not why not as we'd all like to learn
more about a little discussed collection.
Let me correct my statement . . four perpetual calendars by Omega
The Christies link shows the 50 piece perpetual Speedmaster that I hadn't counted -- I have seen one of these watches, but I always forget it -- it was lot 281 at Omegamania and I tried it on at the showing in LA
