Hello All
Thanks for all your input regarding the Omeag Seamaster with the 5 digit serial number. Your comments were insightful and very much appreciated. I have been on the Omega site and filled out the questionaie on the details on the watch (now in my possesion and a beauty!) and when I click on the "submit" button, it bounces me back to the questionaire and I have to fill in the blanks again. Is the 5 digit serial number causing the problem. I viewed my history and no records of inquiries are displayed, so i am assuming the question did not go through. Can any one help with suggestions?...am I doing something wrong?
Thanks
Dave McWilliams
Dave,
Don't know the specific problem, but if the automated query system is failing you, you might try writing your question to [Email address suppressed for privacy]. I've found them slow to respond even in good times (a week is not unusual) and at this time of year (European holidays) it will probably be even longer. For instance, I have a followup question to them on a repair of mine that has gone unanswered since Aug 4!
good luck,
-Tom
Well, guess I ran afoul of an email posting rule here. I don't think it's any secret, it's just aftersales at omega dot ch, which you can find on their site.

Thanks Tom
I sent the e-mail inquiry to the Customer Service Department asking them to forward on to the vintage group. Hopefully it will get to the right people. I forgot about European vacations in August. You may be right about the delay. Dave
