Omega

As an introductory post to the Omega forum I am posting pictures of my PloProf 1200m which I have been wearing almost all the time since aquiring it in Nov last year

These pictures were taken with Nikon D700 and SB-800 flash and 105mm f2.8 Micro Nikkor D lens.
















And here is a hint how I made the first photo - no photoshop required!

I am slightly disappointed with the performance of the 8500 - considering the reports on forums has been how great this movement is.

Timing is a bit off - over the last ten days it's loosing -3sec/day - constant variance - not a lot - but it's a shame it wasn't regulated more accuracely - I prefer my watches to run slightly fast if anything.. I find by placing face down overnight this variance can be reduced a bit.

Overall though - it;s been getting a lot of wrist time!
