Thanks for the heads up. I really miss firing a gun. I haven't gotten a round off in three months! All the ranges are closed. Google "Bangkok" and "politics" for clues.

They emigrated to the US in the 60s/70s, but they both spend time in Thailand every year.  I have many relatives in Bangkok, and all over the country, really.  It's unfortunate and sad to see these events unfolding.  Although I never lived in Thailand, I visited often while growing up, and have many fond memories of the country and its people.  I hope the current situation gets resolved without any further loss of life.

Thank you for sharing your personal anecdote.I did not expect at all that we share this much in common. And I wish your relatives and friends safe in this time of unrest. I used to live right in the heart of the affected district. My mother still lives there but it was decided a few days ago to relocate her temporarily. Protesters tried to set fire in our lane but were stopped by local thugs even before the military got to them. Well...

Looking forward to meeting you on your next visit, way after all this trouble is over.

My experience is that firearms are a very polarizing topic. And I refrain from discussing them in places not intended for them just to be safe.

Very nice composition, by the way. My P22 and G22 say hi.
