Should I have this restored???

The movement looks clean and keeps good time,not sure if the dial and hands're original.

The worst is the case:corrosion around the edge of the crystal and bent lugs.

. . . by now, but since no one has availed themselves as of yet, I'll offer an opinion.

It doesn't appear to be an especially interesting or valuable specimen, so if you're asking whether it's worthwhile from a strictly dollars-and-sense (yes, that was a pun!) point of view, then probably not. I just had a vintage Connie serviced which didn't require any cosmetic work, and the tab was more than the market value of the watch you posted. It would be another story if the watch happened to be a family heirloom. Assuming it isn't, you would likely be upside-down after restoration. Basically, it comes down to whether you like the watch enough to keep it for the long term. If so, then hard money spent today will reap dividends long into the future; if not, and marginal dollars are the order of the day, then the same funds could be put to better use.

It's not woth it...and this will be a " Do it yourself job".It'll end up 5X the value of the watch and I 've got some estimates....

If your movement is looking fine, no need to spend more money on it. I've had bent lugs straightened by one of my watch repair guys easily. Pair of jeweler's pliers does it. There is a small chance the lug will break, but yours doesn't look too bent. Two ways to handle the case: if there's not a lot of wear on the gold plating, some polishing with a Cape Cod cloth will do wonders. better if you can remove the movement & crystal from the case to get all the corrosion. I've used a buffing wheel on a few on mine, too. Use some Polywatch to buff the crystal if you want.
Ideally, you'd like a new seal for the case. I seriously don't see you having to spend much to at least make it a bit more presentable,

The corrosion where you unscrewed the case is pretty much residual gunk from the old rubber gasket. As soon as you remove a caseback that hasn't been touched in a while, there's a danger that loose bits can fall into the movement when you pull it off.

I'm not sure if the green stuff was from the green???? back gasket?It's like dry wax or something to prevent moisture entering the inside.The movement's been running fine and I dare not to mess with it.

It's been carefully removed with no residue and keep in a clean container,the crown and stem must be replaced.Now I have a good view of the dial and find out several lume dots are missing.Is it the right time for a re-finishing job?Thanks all,not much money in this case!!!!!

Green is corrosion probably from the zinc underneath the gold plating? Thought I saw some crumbly bits that might have been pieces of the old gasket. Usually, you see black goo.

I see this one on Ebay.

Should I give the movement a few drops of oil to any part I can reach while wating for replacement parts?I have synthetic oil for my RC hobby?
