Should I have this restored???
The movement looks clean and keeps good time,not sure if the dial and hands're original.
The worst is the case:corrosion around the edge of the crystal and bent lugs.

It's not woth it...and this will be a " Do it yourself job".It'll end up 5X the value of the watch and I 've got some estimates....

I'm not sure if the green stuff was from the green???? back gasket?It's like dry wax or something to prevent moisture entering the inside.The movement's been running fine and I dare not to mess with it.
It's been carefully removed with no residue and keep in a clean container,the crown and stem must be replaced.Now I have a good view of the dial and find out several lume dots are missing.Is it the right time for a re-finishing job?Thanks all,not much money in this case!!!!!

Should I give the movement a few drops of oil to any part I can reach while wating for replacement parts?I have synthetic oil for my RC hobby?
