thats the first time i've seen a dynamic in solid gold
it looks to be in very good condition and very uncommon.

A comment on the old dynamics - Two children visited last month and introduced me last month to their "special friends". I opened up a section of the vintage collection and told the friends to pick one. They both chose vintage steel omega dynamics with no hesitation, passing up precious metal watches of much higher value. Although no one could call the design timeless, clearly it continues to catch the eye.

I wonder how many have been lost during this recent upsurge in gold prices
I had been thinking about this recently. I had one jeweler trying to get me to get me to sell an 80s Japan-only (they all were back then) 18KT gold Credor for scrap value melted. I refused.

I think that like the furniture and architecture of the 60's the design of the Dynamic is coming back into vogue. I would not say that it is everybody's cup of tea but if you have the flair to pull it off it looks great. In solid gold like that ...wow that is a great watch to have.

I missed one...
I missed one in solid gold last year - my email response came too late and the jeweler
had melted the case and bracelet down for the gold... :-(

I do like the watch a lot.
Here is the pic. of the back. The screw back is only a ring that fastens the bracelet to the case. The movement is removed from the front.
