Hello!
I have recently purchased a 2903-8. I purchased it as a sparepart watch because i has new serviced and oiled movement.
The dial have been clened totally and i have no idea what it have been like originally.
Maybee i want to have the dial redone to it's original, and keep the watch.
Omega's Vintage information doesn't even have the 2903 in their archives.
Have you seen a 2903 and can help me how the dial have been looking original.
Ref.: 2903-8

someone have an idea what would like nice on this dial if i cant find out what the original dial was.
I have an idea with a black paint on the dial and no text written.
Maybee i should mention that i have no other watch with a redone/painted dial in my collection, and if it is in appropriate to talk about it in this forum, please let me know.

if you want to have it redone there are a number of people who will pm you details of some very good dial experts.
originality is important, but there is a time when the dial is past the point of non return (obviously this is a personal point) and they then deserve to be treated to a redial. i'm sure you'll be able to find out what the original dial looked like and get it back to that. personally i think that is the best option.
you are full of surprises and i look forward to seeing your whole collection.

for your answer.
I must admit that i dosn't know any who does repaints, i see them all the time on ebay, but i haven't found one yet who does it. I have heard that Thailand is one of the places where it is done.
So i anyone could recommend one i would appreciate it.
But still, if anyone owns a ref. 2903 and could post at picture of the dial i would appreciate it.
