Hi everybody,
here's my recent addition to my brand new Omega vintage watches collection.
It seems to be Seamaster ref. CK 2814 or ref. CK 2687 with a Seamaster dial, mechanical cal. 420 dated 1952/1954.
I hope you enjoy, ciao,
Roberto
Please post pics of the back of the watch. You mentioned two case references... are you not sure which on it is ? If possible have a watchmaker open the caseback up and take pics of the movement and inside caseback ! .
For some reason the watch looks to be about 30 mm in diameter .... what are the diameter of your watch in mm ? Also what is the width between the lugs ? ( aka strap size in mm)?
The 420 is a very cool looking manual wind Omega movement with the indirect seconds bridge looking like a arrow / harpoon ....
Hi Bill, the case of my watch is approx. 33 mm in diameter and 38 mm from lug to lug. The reason why I mention two reference #s is because from the Omega vintage site the stainless steel case of my watch seems to be of ref.2667, while the dial of ref. 2814 with red seconds hand. I will try to have it opened by some expert and I'll post the pictures, ciao, Roberto
