Omega

Hi,
Can anyone educate me regarding a vintage "Golden Mercury" Omega?  We've recently found one that appears to be running well - it's yellow gold and an automatic - but I don't know anything about its provenance or quality.  Would appreciate any and all information.

I have one as well and have not had much luck trying to find out info on line.  here is a site I found:

But I am assuming you found this yourself in your search.  I did e-mail the gentleman and he responded but did not have much to add other than this page.  I have tried the vintage Omega search froom Omega but never heard back...twice over the last year.  If you have any other luck I would appreciate you sharing the info.
