surprisingly most of my other vintage Omegas dont seem to have a lot of noticable patina.

I would like to share what perhaps I value most of my Omegas vintage: a Flightmaster 910 with tropical dial...very rare. All the best!!

At first glance it seems that the subdials were brown painted originally and not have the brown aged color of some Speemasters. Let me find out what really happens with this brown color and I will let you know. I use this watch often and people are always in love. All the best!

Is the lovely patina that can develop. Here are two of mine

Not an Omega, but my most worn dial

No message body

I was told the patina on this Ref. 2179 (1944) is due to water damage. 

The gasket is totally gone so this explanation makes sense to me & could be, I suppose, true.

The hands and indicies on my SM200 have developed a patina of their own with slight pitting and a range of colour from cream to olive green.



I also love the buttery colour of the lume dots on my flightmaster's dial.



and my Dad's old Seamaster has beautiful darkening of the dial between 7 and 3 o'clock.
