Omega Century, advice needed

hi guys,

i need a bit of advice about the Omega century. this pic makes me think the dial is redone, can someone confirm that.

also this one has a movement dating it from 1964, but a ref number on the caseback which doesnt fit with a watch of that age. its 2639-13.

any help or advice greatly received.

Looks redone to me, the only Century i can find in the database is ref. 121.014 and 135.011.

to me.  If the movement serial number and case ref don't match then it could be anything - the case ref appears to be from the 1950s and the movement as you say is 1964 - the dial looks wrong also IMHO.

thanks Andrew, i thought that might be the case. its great that we have
lots of other knowledgeable people to help us, but what about the poor buyer
with not a lot of knowledge. he'd be ripped off and never know it.
i really hate sellers that misrepresent their stuff.

all the century's i've seen have been gold filled. this is the first steel
cased one which is why i put the question to the forum. i think i already knew
the answer before i posted
